I Feel Pretty

djljddgg EXPERIMENTING PAGE! I have to do theeeesseee.. This is young!Apollo and young!Ohanzee from a different saga of Witch Eyes (called Witch Eyes: Bloodless Ties, if I ever choose to do it) which follows Apollo and his adopted human son, Hydra, but also Ohanzee becoming a little too well acquainted with a certain tiger wendigo. Bloodless Ties place both before and after Heart Behind Witch Eyes. (Again, if I ever do Bloodless Ties)
Whatever the case apparently Hydra went missing and these two went looking for the little snot. (P.S. Ohanzee calls a lot of people Babe. They aren't gay for each other)


"The music is bad and you should feel bad!" describes the exact feelings i have towards this page xD It's not even finished because I stopped the toning after doing Ohanzee. I'm fine with fur, just not jagged-y fur like these two bastards. Noooot fun. (The tones I did look like crap too xD)
I AM happy with the lineart. Sketching this was a hoot. I definitely adore horizontal pages with animals. It makes logical sense, yeah? A human is vertical so a vertical page expresses them perfectly but animals like wolves and lions are horizontally built, so shouldn't a horizontal page be more fitting? Yes. Yes it's much easier to work this way with animals. It's a lot less awkward.
