My newest character, Bantam! He's the protagonist of my upcoming comic, Chickens cant be Heroes.
Chickens can't be heroes is the result of one of those challenges you guys gave me This one was "cat, thief, hero, mountain, boat" (if I remember correctly!) so the story will include all of those things even though Bantam isn't a cat x3
Chickens Can't Be Heroes is about a world where cats become superheroes because they're a species that's a rare mix of fast, strong and magical. Bantam is a rooster that's had astounding magical abilities since he was just a chick and if he were a cat, he'd likely get to a superhero too. He finds a way around this with the help of a friend but his solution may just backfire on him and his friend in the most nightmarish of ways.
As for Bantam as a character, he has patience, pluck and a strong sense of heroism but he's also rather pessimistic and a snarky bastard. Luckily most people are saved from his attitude since Bantam is mute.
I have seen roosters as the hero before, but I'm really liking the design on this. Plus you never stop amazing me with your unique story and character designs. For a drawing this is interesting, but what gets my attention is how you talk about his attitude in the comments; yet before I even read that I could see it in his eyes. Also I'm not sure it's just me, but I kept trying to call him Batman when I read your comment. Still if you look at it Batman and Bantam both ware black; and Bantam looks a lot like Batman with the "N", "T" and "M" moved around. Don't get me wrong I like the name, but I just want to make sure you know about these things. Maybe just add an another letter to make it stand out from Batman.
I can't wait to see what you do with this story though; keep on being amazing, man.
Ok rooster hero is almost a weird as cats heroes. I love my cat, but he wouldn’t save anyone, my brother’s cat would probably make things worse, and my dad’s cat would just look at you.
I can't wait to see what you do with this story though; keep on being amazing, man.
